KITECREW LESSONS

At kitecrew we offer lessons from a range of qualified instructors. Each instructor works independently & kitecrew only offers a location service.

It is recommended that before you take out your kite that you take a basic course in power kiting, we are in contact with qualified instructors in Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales.

If you would like to book a lesson then please contact us and we will put you in contact with the relevant instructor.

Below is a basic idea of what we try to offer offer, if we put you in contact with other instructors around the UK then course content may vary.

powerkite only

A three hour session.

Encompassing the basics. The correct way to unpack & set up your kite right through first flight control to safe pack down.

buggy introduction

A four hour session.

The first 3 hours of the course are the same as the powerkite only course, once the instructor is happy with your progress you will be introduced to the buggy for the remainder of the course.

landboard introduction

A four hour session.

The first 3 hours of the course are the same as the powerkite only course, once the instructor is happy with your progress you will be introduced to the landboard for the remainder of the course.

depower introduction

A three hour session.

Once the kite skills are attained some flyers progress onto a depowerable kite for boarding and more recently buggying. This course enables you to make the smooth move from four line handles to a depower bar.
